This was back in July, we were planning to take the sailboat out (Kelly spent an hour getting it all ready), only to discover the rutter was missing!  We later found it at camp, it had been there since last summer!

Anyway, off to the park with butterfly nets, fishing poles and our kayak

We captured and identified this one . . . a “Common Buckeye”

One major goal of the day-to get the boys to bait their own hook, I helped them do the first one (trying to make myself do it again), don’t they look cute working together . . .

And, then off to the beach, it was super wavy so the swimming was fun but the kayaking was tough

It was a fun, full afternoon:)
