I came across a bunch of “mommy” things on pinterest-i would link you there but I have no idea how to do that, by all means, go check it out and become a follower or whatever that is, anyway, found this quote . . .
“Motherhood is a choice you make everyday to put someone else’s happiness and well-being ahead of your own.to teach the hard lessons.to do the right thing even when you’re not sure what the right thing is . . . and to forgive yourself over and over again for doing everything wrong.” Donna Bell
I think that about sums me up, I am so grateful for kids who adore me even though I’m getting things wrong all the time:)
I had a great day yesterday. We had a nice breakfast with the Sunday School kids that some of the dads prepared for us. We went to our usual Mother’s Day spot, a chinese buffet for lunch-they take really good care of us there. The kids all got their own plates this year, a nice change of pace for us;)
Then, Marian & I went to my favorite scrapbook store and did a little cropping and picture organizing.
I got some sweet homemade gifts from the kids, in fact, I had to open Tobin’s on Saturday because he just couldn’t stand to wait!
It is a note pad with a picture of our family that he drew . . .
from Marian . . .
from Ezra . . .
and, have to include his colorful envelope, Uncle Rob always has super fun, creative envelope designs . . .
That’s a great picture of the four of you!!! Love their artwork too.
Great photo and the gifts are precious. 🙂
Homemade gifts from the kids are the best! Sounds like you had a great mother’s day. I love the picture!
The picture of you and the kids is great! And of course, love the items from your kids.
