I’m a “rock star”

I meant to post this a long time ago, it’s from a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) magazine written by Melinda Coats . . .

I live the life of a rock star.  It’s true!  I have wild hair (seriously wild in my case) and make-up with frequent costume changes.

Everywhere I go I have an entourage. People are constantly yelling my name. I look out into the crowd and they’re actually crying for me, reaching for me.

I have no privacy. I’m watched when I shower, when I’m cooking, even when I use the restroom . . .for my own protection, I’m sure.

When I go places I must do so quickly before my fans get out of control and start a riot.  Every night a different guy wants to sleep with me. Each of them seems geniuinely hurt when I turn him away.

Occasionally I get dirty undergarments whirled at me with a whoop and a smile. It’s even hard sometimes to walk through my own home without someone spotting me and trying to grab my legs or my clothing.

Oh, and don’t forget about the stalkers!  You know those crazed fans that follow you everywhere? Why, I can’t even talk on the phone in the pantry without an eye or two peeping in at me.

Yes it’s true–I live the life of a rock star.

And, this goes out to my three biggest fans — Xavier, Zerach & Zidon (or in my case, Marian, Ezra & Tobin), thanks for making my debut so special!

Yet another reason to be home, they won’t think I’m a rock star forever.

Just love how Marian’s hair does that little flip curl so naturally

Tobin

Just some sweet pictures of Tobin.  To say that he likes being alone with me in the afternoons would be a huge understatement, we believe he would happily be an only child:)

We play a lot of games, do some reading & writing, painting & play doh.  I’m trying to be a little more focused with our afternoons since he’s not officially in a pre-school (although BSF & MOPS are both pretty much the same as pre-school).

Ok, so maybe he doesn’t look so happy in this picture, but he warms up . . .

Boys

I love having boys, Ezra especially comes up with some pretty interesting activities . . .

I guess the sleeping bag in the middle of the floor was just too tempting (and inspiring)

I love how “sold out” Ezra is, completely layed out & committed to the jump, can’t wait to see him in the pool this summer

They had a lot of fun.
