Camp-some closing shots & thoughts
There was lots that we did that I didn’t get pictures of, I tried to just put it away sometimes and enjoy. Ez, Mari & I went on a giant dune hike and I didn’t want to lug my camera with me or risk getting sand in it (this is when a want little point & shoot). Ez climbed all the way back up this time, you can see pix from last year. And, at the bottom of the dune on the big lake, the kids tried body surfing for the first time.
There are not a ton of pictures of Ezra because he was off doing stuff all the time, he was really only in the water once. One day, he played a game of wiffle ball with me, a bunch of kids and their dads. He scored the game winning run and afterwards said “Mommy, that was a sweet game”, later that day he played “free ball” (think free for all dodge ball) in the gym for 2 hours! It was probably the best day of his life!
Tobin followed Grandma everywhere, wanted to jump on the water trampoline endlessly and just played.
Marian got to go horse back ride with another family and loved it, did A LOT of swimming, some kayaking, and running around with Mikayla.
We ate ice cream everyday, played hard, and enjoyed God’s amazing creation. We had a great speaker for the week, aka speaker guy Tim who among other things challenged us to “jump in” to our faith, really live it out without hesitation!
And, some closing shots which sort of sum up camp . . .

you know, a little “point and shoot” would be nice. we are thinking of getting one when we go to Scotland. Loved all your pictures!
