No sugar for me
I’m trying an experiment-for a variety of reasons like I’ve gained 5 lbs since being in this boot, my sleep has been worse than normal and I’m seriously ADDICTED to sugar and have been out of control lately! So, I’m cutting all refined sugar from my diet. For how long? I have no idea, I might not last through tomorrow:) I think I’d like to try it for a week. Then, I’m hoping I’ll feel so good I’ll want to continue. I will allow myself natural sweeteners like agave nectar, honey or raw sugar but nothing “refined”-your basic white (or brown) sugar. Do you know there is sugar in some pasta sauces and even in some breads. I have made it through today so far and it’s been ok but tomorrow I go to work and I know there will be peanut M & M’s just calling my name.

You know how awful I sleep…I cut out sugar and really all food after 6:00 and I sleep so much better now. I’d say I sleep all night about half the time and only wake up once on other nights. I’m sleeping better now than when I was taking the Ambien!
Good for you. I once did it for one month between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Then I ate one cookie and I was hooked again. It is very addicting!!
