We had to return the shark book-Ez cried the first night he had to sleep without it. This one has replaced it, it’s really cute with mama and baby animals:)

I love our church family and love the way our church family loves our kids.
Pastor Johnny reading a book to Ezra

Rebecca, Quinn & Tobin. Rebecca (one of Johnny & Michelle’s daughters) wants to take Tobin home, and he was truly devasted when we told him not today.

Our church family is rather small but very close. We have worship service at 10:30 which lasts until somewhere between 11:30-11:45ish and then we have our “second service” which is all of us (and any newcomers we can lasso in) standing around talking & snacking until 12:30-1:00ish, no one ever seems to want to leave.
I love having friends over after MOPs, it’s always just a last minute-hey you want to come over for lunch and let the kids play together some more? Mary & Lauren came (which they frequently do or we go to their house) and this time Sarah came with her boys and little Silja. Her boys are both a little order than ours so it’s fun for all.

and we sent them outside to play

Yes, Ezra is barefoot. I’ve decided it’s not worth the debate; the kid is rarely cold and he comes in on his own when I don’t nag him.
I had a slumber party last weekend with some very dear friends-all sisters in Christ. We have the most amazing time talking & laughing & sharing what God has been teaching us since last we all talked. We only get together as a group about every 4-6 months but it’s always special wtih God’s hand on it when we do.

Another over 60 degree day to be celebrated and we packed it in as I knew that Saturday was going to be a busy day (inside) and I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the weather and Mari didn’t have school.
We went to one of our favorite parks in the morning with friends, 5 kids on one tire swing!

Then we took some other friends to the zoo in the afternoon. Megan & I took 8 kids!

We had kids age: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 4, 3, & 3. We decided we’d have to go again in February when we’d have one every age 10-3!

The baby chimp was my highlight for the afternoon, he/she (?) was just too cute
