Just liked this shot from Ezra’s soccer on Saturday-I love the effects in Lightroom!

Swinging

Posted 1 year, 3 months ago at 7:55 pm.

I had a photo shoot on Friday (see www.6littlefeet.com for those shots), we did it at one of our favorite parks and Martha’s husband was gracious enough to play with the boys in the play area while we walked around with Kira.  These boys LOVE to swing!

We went to visit Noah & Heather, they have a very nice house with beautiful light and lots of fun toys.

And, yahoooo, I’m all caught up:)

Mari's baseball practice

Posted 1 year, 3 months ago at 8:44 pm.

I have finally committed to this new camera, and am somewhat caught up on the hundreds of test shots I’ve been taking. (Megan if you’re reading this, we will be packaging up your new camera soon:)).  I took the camera to Mari’s baseball practice on Tuesday so I could “practice” some more.

This might be one of my favorite shots ever

Ez and his new friend Nathan (the coaches youngest son) playing catch

and, oh, here’s Mari during batting practice, don’t the boys look cute watching

Memorial Day

Posted 1 year, 3 months ago at 1:42 pm.

I took the kids to a parade and then over to Kelly’s parents to plant some flowers (part of our birthday gift to her since she can’t do it right now) & have lunch, home for naps and then to a party. It was a fun busy day.

I must confess that I was a little more emotional about the parade this year, as we’re honoring those who fought for our freedom, it saddens me to see the direction our country is headed in. Thank you so much to all of you who have bravely stood firm to protect this nation yesterday, today & in the future.

Many of our church gang at the parade

Evan marching in the band (they were quite good!)

These are Kate’s feet – just liked the shot!

I don’t know much about airplanes but these flew over the parade in different formats several times, very cool

I was teasing the girls about their sun glasses but don’t they look like movie stars here

The party afterwards

Tobin (the mischief maker), got ahold of the garden hose, Wayne (the owner of the house who fortunuately loves our kids) wondered if he had turned it off from using it earlier-he hadn’t!  They were all egging Tobin on to squirt Wayne, which he happily did.  I snapped a couple pictures and said if you’re going to encourage him I can’t be responsible and left the scene. Of course there were quite a few wet guests shortly after that.

It’s hard to see because I couldn’t get a good angle fast enough but this is Brad cracking Kelly’s back. Kelly does this for everyone else but he never has people around tall enough to do it for him.
